About SHCC

At the Southern Highlands Croquet Club in Exeter we play Golf Croquet and Association Croquet. No previous experience is required and in the ambience of a friendly and enthusiastic club the game can be quickly learned.

 

Many members choose to play on a purely social basis. For those who have a more competitive streak we provide the opportunity for competition within the club by holding championships and with other clubs in our region.

Established in 1992, the Club moved to its current premises, on land owned by the Council, in 1996. The Clubhouse was completed in 2018 with funds raised from members, friends and the local community.

 

Nancy Dane, one of the founder members, is honoured for her diligence and perseverance to ensure that the lawns were properly levelled and grassed in the first instance. This tenacity has served the Club well, as, with on going maintenance, the lawns are currently amongst the finest in NSW.
