Competition or Social

While SHCC is primarily a ‘social’ club, it also offers players opportunities to participate in more competitive games (annual Championship, Exeter Cup, Autumn Cup) Externally, teams participate in the Regional Pennants covering Illawarra and the ACT.

 

More recently players have represented the Club at tournaments elsewhere in the State. SHCC has also started to offer its lawns for use by Croquet NSW for some of its competitions.

 

New players are paired with an experienced player who will explain and demonstrate the various shots and strategies available, and who will ensure the new players transition to active membership of the Club.
